Lebanese shish kebab with yogurt salad
When I was in the US, my husband and I use to go to this wonderful place called Shamshiri Grill in Santa Monica, California. They served up these shish kebabs with rice and grilled tomatoes as you see in the header picture. There was so much food, both of us could eat from one plate. They were so wonderful.
The one thing that made this meal so wonderful was the yogurt and cucumber salad that was served along side. It is seasoned with dry mint. Although the service was awful and very unattentive as they were swamped with customers the food was devine. I hope you enjoy my rendition of this famous recipe from Shamshiri's Grill.
