Swiss Chard Stalks in Yogurt
For a quick salad to go along with your meal, make this delicious salad.
- 1 pound Swiss Chard Stalks, chopped
- 2 cups yogurt, any kind
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Place the chopped stalks in a pot of water and bring to boil. After the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes. Rinse the stalks.
- Place the garlic and the salt in a mortar and pound together. Place the minced garlic and salt in the yogurt and mix well.
- Add the cooked Swiss Chard stalks to the yogurt mixture. and stir. Serve in small serving bowls around the table.
